In an effort to maximize cooling and power efficiency while reducing costs we are consolidating the data center footprint, in the San Francisco Data Center that some or all of your solution is currently hosted in. To perform this consolidation will be relocating a network distribution switch to a new area within our San Jose data center.

Scope of Maintenance: Our network and data center engineers will be performing a physical relocation of the secondary network distribution switch to a new location within the San Jose data center.

Expected Impact: Customers will see extended impact during this maintenance as the switch is relocated to the new location.
The maintenance window is given to allow time for Datapipe engineers to respond to any unforeseen issues that may occur during the upgrade.  This upgrade is planned in accordance with best practices and is implemented with Datapipe technicians on-site.

Our records indicate that some or all of your solution are connected to network switches that require emergency maintenance. On the date and times referenced above, we will be rebooting two switches within our San Jose data center.

Scope of Maintenance:  As a precautionary measure we are rebooting these switches after receiving incrementing errors from our monitoring system.

Expected Impact: Clients will experience a loss of connectivity of up to 15 minutes during this maintenance as the devices are rebooted.

This maintenance is planned in accordance with best practices and is implemented with Datapipe technicians on-site. The maintenance window is given to allow time for our network engineers to respond to any unforeseen issues that may occur with this change.

Customers in the US-WEST datacenter may see network interruptions of up to 10 minutes and increased latency during this maintenance as the core switches are rebooted one at a time.

On the date and times referenced above, we will be upgrading and rebooting two core switches within our San Jose (US-WEST) data center to increase performance and operational continuity.
