Completed -- GoGrid System Maintenance

This maintenance was successful.  Change requests are now processing.

(Friday, August 1st, 2008 from 01:00 – 02:00 UTC)

Customer Impact:
Requests to Add, Delete, or Restart GoGrid servers will not be serviced for up to 15 minutes during the maintenance window. This includes changes submitted through the my.gogrid.com portal or through the API. Please note that availability of your GoGrid servers will NOT be impacted in any way.

Maintenance Details:
We are doing maintenance on the control systems which process change requests.

Resolved -- GoGrid Portal

my.gogrid.com portal was under a mild DDoS attack.  We've since resolved the problem and all services should be functional.

Details:
We're presently investigating why my.gogrid.com is not responding properly at this time.  We will have an update available as soon as we know more.

Customer Impact:
Your GoGrid server will be rebooted and unavailable for up to 60 minutes

Maintenance Details:
We have identified that the hardware node that one or more of your GoGrid servers is on has crashed at least once in the past few days. While we thoroughly test our hardware before placing it into production, this node is exhibiting unstable behavior and we will be moving your server to another node during the maintenance.  Thank you for your patience.

GoGrid is releasing its API, a proprietary system to allow GoGrid developers, administrators, and users to programmatically access the functions that are available through our UI.

Customer Impact:
Your GoGrid server(s) will no longer be able to send out SMTP email traffic without approval.

Maintenance Details:
GoGrid is filtering outbound TCP port 25 to prevent unsolicited bulk email from exiting our network.  If you require SMTP to be enabled, please open a case at my.gogrid.com and we will re-enable the port on your VLAN .
