Resolved: Issues Reported with Load Balancer Creation and Deletion

The issue below has been resolved.


GoGrid Support has received several reports of load balancers not adding and deleting successfully. Existing load balancers are not impacted.

Our engineers are investigating the root cause. We will update this status blog as more information becomes available.

Customer Impact:

Add/start/delete/restart requests from the GoGrid Customer Portal may be delayed for up to 45 minutes. There will be no impact to existing GoGrid VMs, load balancers or cloud storage during this time. Customer Portal and API access will not be affected

Maintenance Details:

GoGrid is making improvements to our infrastructure.

Emergency GoGrid Maintenance: Thursday June 24th 19:00 PDT

Customer Impact:
There will be a delay to the completion of VM add, delete, and restart requests submitted via the my.gogrid.om portal and API. Requests made during this maintenance window will be queued and processed once maintenance is complete.

Emergency Maintenance Details:
A hardware problem has been identified and requires immediate maintenance. Once maintenance has been performed, queued jobs will begin processing. Existing virtual servers and load balancer operation will not be affected.

Case submission and case history will be unavailable via the portal or support.

Maintenance Details:
Required CRM maintenance is being performed during this time.  To submit a case, please log into the portal and start a chat session, or call the support helpdesk at 1-877-9-GoGrid (1-877-946-4743 / 1-415-869-7444).  Customer virtual servers, load balancers, portal, or API are not affected and will continue to function normally.

Completed - GoGrid Portal and API Maintenance

Maintenance window extended to 12am PDT

Tuesday, June 15, 2010 18:00 - 23:00 PDT
(Wednesday, June 16, 2010 01:00 - 06:00 GMT)

Customer Impact:
The GoGrid customer portal and API will be unavailable for up to five (5) hours while we upgrade our infrastructure.  There will be no impact to existing GoGrid VMs, load balancers, or CloudStorage during this time.

Maintenance Details:
GoGrid is making software improvements to the GoGrid customer portal and API.
