Maintenance Details:

The maintenance schedule will be completed in 2 phases.

Monday Oct 10th  - Preventive Maintenance performed on UPS 1 and 2.
Tuesday Oct 10th  - Preventive Maintenance performed on UPS 3 and 4.

We will also be performing our quarterly generator run Thursday, Oct 20th, 2011 from 7:00 pm PDT to 6:00 am PDT Oct 21st, the expected time on generator should be approximately 11 hour.

Quarterly Generator Run (test) required to ensure contingent power in case of an outage.

East Coast Server - Resolved

A couple of servers in the East Coast had difficulty being accessed. Network and Systems Engineers narrowed down the source. If you believe your server is impacted, log a case through my.gogrid.com.

The GoGrid customer portal (my.gogrid.com) and API will be unavailable for up to 4 hours while we upgrade our infrastructure. There will be no impact to existing GoGrid cloud servers, dedicated servers, firewalls, load balancers or cloud storage during this time.

Maintenance Details:

GoGrid is making software improvements to the GoGrid customer portal and API.

Network Issue - Resolved

From approximately 15:37 – 15:52 PDT (GMT-7), GoGrid experienced an unplanned network issue due to link saturation that arose during the scheduled maintenance window.  Customers may have experienced loss of connectivity to public IP addresses on GoGrid servers.

Following the primary issue, other related issues caused further downtime for a small subset of customers.  As of 19:10 PDT, we have confirmed all issues resolved.  A detailed RFO will be provided to customers who reported problems once our engineering team finished their investigation.

Cloud Storage

One of our Cloud Storage nodes experienced a RAID array failure and we are currently in the process of repairing the node. If you are experiencing issues with accessing your Cloud storage, please create a case for regular updates.

Update: The GoGrid Systems Team is currently working to migrate customers to other storage hardware. Customers will be notified individually once their account has been migrated successfully.

GoGrid Scheduled Maintenance for September

Sunday, September 11, 2011 08:00-20:00 PDT (GMT-7) cancelled
• Saturday, September 24, 2011 08:00-20:00 PDT (GMT-7)

Customer Impact:

Intermittent loss of network connectivity for up to 10 minutes per VM or dedicated server.

Maintenance details:

GoGrid is upgrading our network infrastructure to increase fault tolerance and redundancy. During the maintenance window, each VM or dedicated server will lose network connectivity for up to 10 minutes per server, with the expected downtime of less than 1 minute.  You may lose private or public connectivity at different times during the same maintenance window. Your servers will not be impacted in any way, other than temporary loss of network connectivity.

Customers with VMs can mitigate the impact of this maintenance by deploying servers in the US-East-1 data center, which will not be impacted.
