Storm Sandy Update

GoGrid continues to closely monitor the effect of Storm Sandy on business and daily life in the Eastern United States. Our sincerest thoughts and good wishes go out to everyone affected by this devastating storm.

The GoGrid Data Center in Ashburn, VA, was fully prepared for the event, ensuring that our employees remain safe, our facilities secure, and our communications consistent. Our network providers and data-center operators have topped off generator fuel tanks and make-up water tanks and stored multiple days of fuel on-site. The data center is under normal operations, which includes stable utility power and no signs of any water damage. If a building needs to shift to emergency generators, provisions for the delivery of additional fuel are in place.

We’ve also received updates from Zayo (formerly known as AboveNet), one of the many network providers for all 3 of our data center locations. Zayo has reported multiple fiber cuts and service interruption in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York regions, where they’re currently running on generator backup. Our ongoing monitoring has not shown interruptions or degradation of service on any of our networks at this time; however, we continue to actively monitor the situation.

GoGrid – Networking Issues Reported in EU-West1 - 2013-03-04

Customers in the US-West1 data center have reported public network connectivity issues. The GoGrid Networking Team is currently investigating the issue. This posting will be updated as more information is available .
Update1: @11:40 AM PDT Some customers have reported that the public networking issues have subsided. The Networking Team is still investigating the cause.
Update2: @ 13:38 PDT - No new issue have been reported. The Networking team is currently performing a root cause analysis.
Update3:@16:38 PDT - The Networking issue has been stabilized.  Customers that opened a case will be sent an RFO.

GoGrid–Portal Issues - Resolved

You may being having an issue with accessing the my.gogrid.com We aware of this and the issue should be resolved shortly.

GoGrid West Jobs Processing - Resolved

Some customers are experiencing delays with cloud server management activities (adds, saves, deletes). The GoGrid Systems team is actively investigating the issue. Please log a Support case if you are experiencing any problems.

GoGrid Cloud Storage - Wednesday October 10 2012

One of our Cloud Storage nodes experienced a hardware issue that resulted in a node reboot. Some customers were temporarily disconnected from the cloud storage and will need to reconnect, however the issue has been resolved.
